Hello guys.. welcome to Youths Area. As you all know, Facebook
is one of the world’s biggest and popular social networking website founded by
Mr. Mark Zuckerberg. You may have seen that Facebook keeps making some change
in its website and introduces new features in it like graph search, timeline
and many more. One of the new features that is introduced by Facebook is “seen” option
on chat box. Now if we read someone’s message on Facebook then the sender easily come to know that we have seen his message. Also it show the time when we read
that message e.g SEEN at 7:24 PM. This feature sometime annoys many Facebook
users. So if you want to remove or hide
this “seen” option from your Facebook chatbox, then you are here at the right
place. Today I will show how you can remove/hide "seen" option from Facebook
chatbox.
As Facebook doesn’t allow us to hide this option in any of
their setting, so we have to add some add-ons in our browsers to remove this “seen”
feature. As most of the user use either Firefox or Chrome to surf internet, so
this trick is working for Firefox and chrome only. So here is the trick.
For Firefox
Step 1: First of all you have to install an extension called grease-monkey. It is used in many other tasks. It’s a very useful extension. You
can download it by clicking here.
Step 2: After installing grease-monkey, restart your browser.
Step 3: Now you have to download Facebook StealthExtension. Click here to install this
extension.
Step 4: Again restart your browser and you are done!!
Step 5: Now start chatting on Facebook and check whether it
works for you or not.
