Can You Use eAadhar / mAadhar For Various Works?

What Is eAadhar / mAadhar?

eAadhar is a type of Aadhar card which you have downloaded from the UIDAI website.

Is eAadhaar Legal?

Yes, eAadhar is as legally valid as original Aadhar issued by UIDAI.  Both should be acceptble by all agencies.
Moreover, downloaded eAadhaar has updated adress etc of the Aadhar holder and therefore should be preferable. Many times we have seen that some agencies refuse to accept eAadhar and ask for the original aadhar card, but it is not legal to refuse eAadhar.

NOTE: If anyone refuses to accept downloaded eAadhar, the Aadhar holder may lodge a complaints with higher authorities of those departments/ agencies.
