Uttarakhand Group-c or samuh-g Syllabus 2014

Group-c exam or samuh-g exam is conducted by UBTER for various job vacancies of different departments. The last date of form submission was 31^st march 2014. Now, the exam is expected to be conduct on July 2014, however, the exact date will be given by UBTER itself. We are providing syllabus for group-c examination. 1- General Hindi:

These are the topic that comes under general Hindi:

• Hindi language and Hindi grammar.
• Synonyms (paryayvachi shabd)
• Antonyms (Vipritarthak shabd)
• Vakyansh k liye ek shabd
• Tatsam & tatbhav shabd
• Sandhi
• Samaas
• Idioms and proverb ( muhavre aur lokoktiyaan)
• Sentence correction (vaakya shuddhi)
• Unseen passage (apathit gadyansh)
• Ras
• Alankaar

2- General Knowledge:

Following topics comes under the general knowledge section.

• Important dates
• First in India
• First in the world
• About famous personalities
• Books and authors
• Famous places
• Currencies, capitals etc.
• Prizes
• Sports
• Largest, biggest, longest in the world/India.

3- General Studies

General studies consist of following topics

• Indian history
• History of modern world
• Geography
• Indian economy
• Indian polity

4- General science

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology

5- Current Affairs

Current affairs consist of the latest incident that takes place around the world. These questions are rarely asked in group-c exam but still you have to prepare for that also.

6- Core knowledge

This section deals with the core subject of that department you have applied for. Suppose  you have applied for agriculture department, then knowledge of agriculture will be your core knowledge. You must have strong command on your core subjects.
